Journey
In the dust of Eswatini, Uncle Waffles, born Lungelihle Zwane, embraced her roots. Raised by her grandmother on ancestral tales, she found solace in South African beats. The pandemic sparked her musical journey, and in October 2021, fate led her to Soweto's Zone 6 nightclub. With a mischievous grin, she seized the DJ decks, transforming into the "Princess of Amapiano." Her infectious joy, captured in a viral video, transcended borders. Uncle Waffles isn't just a sensation; she's a storyteller, weaving narratives through music, dance, and being—a beacon of hope and resilience, her story, like Eswatini's sun, just beginning.
